YOU MAY HAVE SEEN A RECENT TELEVISION COMMERCIAL INVITING FAMILIES TO PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH IF THEIR CHILD HAS AUTISM, ASPERGER’S OR PDD-NOS.

Here is more info on that program, along with the TV commercial.

What is the ConnectMe clinical research program?

The ConnectMe clinical research program is for children who are 6 to 12 years old    and have autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise    Specified (PDD-NOS). The program includes three studies evaluating the safety, tolerability,    and effectiveness of an investigational drug on social interaction and communication    skills in children with these disorders.
